An intriguing collection of stories that blur the boundary between Fantasy and Fairy Tales for adults. Stockton is one of my favorite "forgotten" authors, highly recommended. Beautifully illustrated by Frederick Richardson. Charles Scribner's Sons, 1906, First illustrated Edition. A nice, solid copy with minimal wear, neat inscription and bookplate present.
