Phantastes by George MacDonald, London, 1923.

A lovely copy of this groundbreaking Faerie Romance by George Macdonald.  Lin Carter, in his introduction to the Adult Fantasy Edition wrote:

"...MacDonald manipulates psycho-emotional symbols relevant to most of us, and captures with amazing fidelity the melting, shifting landscapes of dream..."

This is a nice and bright Edition from Dent and Sons, London, 1923.
